A dance of colors that seem to jump off their canvas
I acquired this reproduction of a work by Ricardo de la O from El Gallista gallery (summer, 2012). To me, it captures old downtown San Antonio so well. I love the snugly sleeping child, the space heater warming the room (it must be a winter night), the glowing night lights, and the lovely image of the Tower Life Building in the window (http://www.towerlifebuilding.com/). From the window view, it would appear the home is located on the west side of downtown.
The artist statement above is copied directly off the label on the back of the work. ~Carolyn
